Enter Our Cyber Safety Video Competition for Adults with Intellectual Disabilities

This Cyber Safety video competition is made just for adults with intellectual disabilities. You can enter on your own or get your friends and centre involved! This is a fantastic chance to get creative and learn about staying safe online.

The online world can be tricky to navigate, especially because of scams and cyber threats. Create your own video using a camera or a phone.

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Look at our cyber advice video and the easy read information in our PDF here: Cyber Safety Video Topics Easy Read Information
  2. Make a 3–5-minute video of one of the cyber safety topics based on which you feel best explains the advice or which you feel is most important to you.
  3. It can be in any format, a Q&A, interviews, do a dance, song or act it out, it’s up to you.
  4. You can also make a 10-15 second jingle or song about cyber safety and add this at the beginning or end of your video (this may boost your chances of winning).

The prize for the winning entry is a Nintendo Switch!
We will be accepting submissions until the 24th of September 2025.

 

The winning video will be showcased on our website, YouTube channel, and social media, so everyone can see your amazing work.

We believe that everyone deserves to feel confident and safe online. This competition is a chance for you to learn more about being safe online and teach others through your video. Whether you’re a centre supporting adults with intellectual disabilities or an individual eager to get involved, we can’t wait to see how you tell the story of cyber safety your way.
