Free MTU Cyber Safety workshops are being delivered in community libraries across Ireland in partnership with the Libraries Skills for Life Programme. These workshops were delivered by Asiera employees as part of their staff volunteering initiative.
The Cyber Safety Project was established in response to the lack of tailored, accessible cybersecurity support available to Irish citizens, particularly older adults.
Workshop Topics Include:
- Recognising and avoiding online scams
- Ai and Misinformation
- Understanding privacy and cookies
- Creating and managing strong passwords
- What to do if you are hacked
- Safe online shopping
The workshops are free of charge, open to all, and no prior technical knowledge is required. These are 1-hour workshops.
