If you believe your account or your network has been hacked because you can’t get access or you have noticed unusual activity, you should report it to your local Garda station and keep a copy of the suspicious activity, including last login records, or a screenshot of the login page showing you were locked out.

Revolut:
If you think you’ve sent money to a fraudster, act quickly by securing your account and reporting the transfer.
Secure your account
- Stop all communication with the scammer
- If you shared any card details, freeze your card in your Revolut app by tapping the card icon in the top-right corner. Then, select the card you want to freeze and tap ‘Freeze’. Alternatively, you can terminate it by going to ‘Settings’ and tapping ‘Terminate card’
- Contact the financial institution where your account is held. If it’s Revolut, reach out to Revolut Support via the in-app chat for assistance
- If you can, report the matter or provide details of the scammer to the police
Report the transfer
In the Revolut mobile app:
- Go to ‘Home’ on the bottom menu
- Select the transfer in question from your transactions list
- Tap ‘Get help’
- Tap ‘Report this transfer as fraud’
